Please excuse my daughter...

I had to write a note this morning excusing Rissa's absence. I hope the folks in the attendance office take it well. (At least they'll know she didn't write it herself).

To whom it may concern:

Please excuse Karissa for being really loud, obnoxious, generally annoying, sneezing too much in class, and otherwise having a really big mouth—she can’t help it (and we love her anyway).

But beyond her enthusiastic nature, please excuse her to visit Holy Spirit School today, so she can share some of that energy with the students there, whom she will hopefully not scare away from coming to Central High.

My apologies if she accidentally says the word “penis” to Jordan W. again.

Best,

Jamie Ford

Lol. Do you get away with stuff like this because you're a NYTimes bestselling author? I know the ladies who work at my old schools would have BUGGED OUT if they saw this.

LOL, that is so hilarious. I have to remember to do something like this the next time my kids need a note. Nice job, Jamie.

LOL Jordie claims he did not hear it, but my guess is... he will be safe today as I can't imagine that might be part of the selling points for attending Central!!!TeeHee God Bless, Kim W

Oh the tender ears of my nephew! I respect a girl who can use proper medical terms though - I can't wait to meet Karissa!
