2009 Montana Book Award

Wow, I go out of town for a few days and suddenly my inbox fills up with the news that HOTEL was chosen as the winner of the aforementioned honor. And what an honor it is, especially considering the other books in contention.

The award is presented April 8, during the Montana Library Association’s conference in Bozeman.

Guess I'd better pay my late fees.

Congrats Jamie! That must be extra-cool for you, since it's an award near home (as opposed to an award from Timbuktu - though I guess that'd be cool too). Anyway, hope you do at least one happy dance.

Hulananni-- I turned in the new manuscript last week. No release date set. Hopefully early next year though...stay tuned. :)
