Going back to school

Yes, I'm back from the sunny (partially cloudy) beaches of Kaua'i and heading to chilly Connecticut for a pair of book gigs.

On Monday I'll be at RJ Julia Booksellers in Madison, and then on Tuesday I'm off to the Asian American Studies Institute at UCONN where I'll be giving a "Day of Remembrance" lecture and reading.

Don't let the word lecture fool you, it's going to be a good time. I'm off to pack my toga and fake ID.
