Over the Pulpwood rainbow

I don’t know why I ever unpack. I should probably just drag my dresser to Goodwill and live out of a suitcase, cause I’m hitting the skyways once again. This time I’m off to Jefferson Texas for (drumroll please) the Pulpwood Queens 10th Anniversary Girlfriend Weekend Author Party Extravaganza. I’ll pause to let you soak that in.

The Pulpwood Queens are the world’s largest book club, with 250+ chapters nationwide. This is their annual soiree/tornado and I’m expecting an F5. Should be fun. I’ll be sure to report on the weekend’s doings, which include a Barbie & Ken Fashion show and a Wizard of Oz themed party. Names will be changed to protect the innocent, helpless bystanders and to prevent future recrimination.

I'm off to pack my tiara. Cheers, y’all.

You might just want to keep a packed suitcase somewhere and call it your "just in case" bag. As for the party...Wow...just wow. This ought to be interesting, so make sure to take lots of photos. We'll all be anxiously awaiting a picture of you as Ken (or the Wiz, whichever you prefer).
