Tattered Cover: Denver, CO
Wednesday, February 25, 2009 Drat. I have this amazing 5 mega-whatever camera on my phone and I am soooo bad at using it.
So, in your mind you’ll have to picture 65 people attending a pre-event at Encore, hosted by my über-agent, Kristin Nelson. From there we went right next door to the famed Tattered Cover in Denver for a talk/reading/signing-- what an amazing and humbling experience.
The first podcast that I ever listened to was from the TC—probably four years ago. And to do an event there, podcast and all, was like playing on Broadway, for me anyway. I didn’t want it to end. (But there was that whole sleep thing and another plane to catch—this time to Milwaukee).

In the land of “Breaking Book News”—HOTEL has entered its 4thprinting. (I’m going to have to start using roman numerals or something, like the SuperBowl, to make it more impressive). And the publishing stars have aligned, making HOTEL a National Bestseller!
And if that wasn’t enough—Portuguese rights just sold (Brazil).
Oops, almost forgot. I’ve added another stop on the Bittersweet Tour—a last minute addition—Vroman’s in LA, next Thursday @ 7:00 p.m. Vroman's is the largest and oldest Indie in SoCal--hope to see you there!
