Carmichael's Bookstore: Louisville, KY

Ah...another morning, another airport, another vigorous pat down at security. How many times can you get felt up before it qualifies as a common law marriage? Just wondering.

Had a fine time in Louisville—just wish I had more than 24 hours at a time. Sadly, my visits tend to be cursory in nature. “And on your left is the giant Louisville Slugger, and on your right…” that kind of thing, as we head to the bookstore where the real fun begins.

Carmichael’s was lovely--another stellar indie store worth writing home about. And we had a great crowd. You never know what you’re gonna get, but I’ve been soooo fortunate to have nice turnouts all along the tour. Thank you! **Knocking on wood**

Next stop, Atlanta.

Hated to miss this one, but you wouldn't have wanted me there. Not H1N1, but buggy. No fun. Glad you had a good crowd. I know they enjoyed you.

Jamie is IN ATLANTA NOW! (I'm really hoping my city doesn't let me down... this better be a packed event).
