Sleepless in Seattle

The Mariners are done for the year but I still had a great double-header in Seattle. The event at the Panama Hotel was incredible—what a crowd! We packed the place. When a tour bus rolled up and people began to offload, I knew we were in for a good time.

And then last night we doubled-up at Third Place Books where hundreds of people turned out. It was a pleasure to be there with fellow writers Garth Stein, Stephanie Kallos, Jim Lynch, and Diane Hammond, with Nancy Pearl as host. (A HUGE thanks to Cheryl and her crew at Third Place Books!)

While in town I did a gaggle of interviews and even met with folks at a local theater regarding stage rights of Hotel. Alas, poor Henry…I knew him, Keiko…

Wow! That's so awesome! I'd so take a tour bus to hear you speak at the Panama Hotel. Too bad it's so far away...

At least I'll get to hear you speak in a few weeks when you come to Dayton. :)
