Off to Comic-Con

Wow, it's late and I gotta pack for my first pilgrimage to that Mecca of all things geektacular--Comic-Con 2008 in San Diego. No, I'm not packing black spandex or Wolverine claws. Not even a light-saber. Just a camera, and lots of memory cards. And even though I'm going as a fan-boy, I do have a story appearing in a graphic novel anthology next April. More on that later...

I freelance for an interactive firm in a highrise overlooking the convention center. It's a mess out there today. Oh, look, an aircraft carrier just passed the convention center, too on the harbor.

Sandra--Didn't see Channel M, but there were tons of booths that I never made it too--just too much to squeeze in.

Eric--Yup on the Owl ship. Coolness inside and out.

George--Happy to do it. Couldn't believe the lines. Luckily the rent-a-cops merged a couple of lines and I was moved up.
